Day 5 of the MC. The Master Cleanse. I have used the juiceman to process my lemons and had amazing results. The juice seemed rich and pure -- almost like a yellow milk consistency. I used it to make lemonade for today. The pulp also was dry and fluffy, like snowflakes. And they were mild to taste but hard to eat all by itself. I can see it being used in a salad though -- as a topping. I processed two more lemons to mix with the pulp, and then I nailed the mixture in my magic bullet blender with some maple syrup, ice and sea salt. I tried to work with Stevia, but apparently Stevia loses it's sweetness in lemons. I threw in some ice and had a lot of lemon ice. But it was not very good. I am committed to eating the whole lemon, however that commitment has been proven to be challenging. But, when you get four lemons through the juicer, there is a lot of pulp left over. Consuming the whole lemons for this deal is definitely not a fast of some sort. There is a lot that goes into a lemon. You would be surprised. But, as I said earlier, eating is ninety percent psychological, and the strain of just eating lemons, maple syrup and cayenne pepper for days on end is unbearable. However, proponents of the master cleanse, like Peter Glickman, swear by it as a true cleanse and reducer. Peter also states in his book that a strict vegan diet of mostly raw organic foods will also detox the body, only it would take longer to do so. I miss eating. I miss getting lost in the produce section of the supermarket. I have to follow instructions though, trying to give the MC at least 14 days to work. I have lost a bit of weight though. Be sure to check my weight stats.
